Puntatore oculare e fine vita: la tecnologia CNR che resta ferma

Irene ha la SLA, e aspetta da mesi un puntatore oculare che esiste già. Intanto i suoi occhi stanno peggiorando.

Gianluca Riccio

A photorealistic, somber editorial photograph of a medical eye-tracking device mounted on an adjustable arm in a dimly lit hospital storage room. The device features a small camera lens and a screen displaying a simple cursor interface with minimal control buttons. Surrounding it are sterile cardboard boxes and medical equipment in shadow. Soft, cool fluorescent light falls across the machine, highlighting its lens and screen in contrast to the darkness of the room. The atmosphere conveys stillness, waiting, and quiet urgency. In the background, slightly out of focus, a map of Italy is visible pinned to a wall, with two distant points faintly marked. The mood is contemplative and melancholic, with a clinical aesthetic blending with a sense of profound human weight.
