Taglio degli alberi nei centri storici: l’Italia che si rovina da sola

Parigi pianta, Marsiglia ombreggia, Roma abbatte i lecci di Castel Sant'Angelo. Il taglio alberi va trattato come un reato.

Gianluca Riccio

A sun-scorched urban street in Rome during an extreme heatwave, where ancient plane tree stumps line a historic boulevard inside the Aurelian Walls, their roots still cracking the asphalt. The midday sun beats down mercilessly on the exposed pavement, heat shimmer rising visibly from the dark tarmac surface. A lone chainsaw rests abandoned on the sidewalk beside a freshly cut trunk cross-section revealing decades of growth rings. In the far background, lush canopied trees still stand, casting deep green shade, creating a stark visual contrast with the barren, bleached stretch of street in the foreground. The atmosphere is oppressive and dry, golden light harsh and unforgiving. A digital thermometer mounted on a nearby wall displays 41 degrees. Editorial photography style, high contrast, realistic, cinematic wide-angle composition.
