I satelliti distruggeranno l’astronomia: 100.000 è il numero limite

Uno studio ESO fissa il limite per satelliti e astronomia: sopra 100mila, il cielo visto da terra perde dati per sempre.

Gianluca Riccio

A dramatic wide-angle night sky photograph showing a long-exposure astrophotography scene, with multiple bright satellite trails streaking across a star-filled sky in parallel luminous lines. In the foreground, a silhouetted large professional telescope observatory dome sits on a dark hilltop. The Milky Way is partially visible but interrupted and overlaid by dozens of glowing linear streaks from satellites crossing the frame at various angles. The atmosphere is cinematic and slightly melancholic, conveying the tension between the beauty of the cosmos and the growing human-made interference. Deep blue and indigo tones dominate the sky, with the satellite trails rendered as sharp, bright white-gold lines cutting through the stars. Photorealistic style, high dynamic range, editorial astronomy photography aesthetic.
