Gli incendi in Europa potrebbero triplicare. E non basta spegnerli

Quest'estate l'Europa ha già bruciato 550.000 ettari. Uno studio appena pubblicato dice che potrebbe essere solo un assaggio.

Gianluca Riccio

A vast European landscape engulfed in a massive wildfire, with towering walls of orange and red flames consuming dense forests stretching across rolling hills. In the foreground, scorched black earth and smoldering tree stumps contrast with the inferno behind. A hazy, smoke-filled sky dominates the upper half of the image, casting an apocalyptic amber glow over the entire scene. In the middle distance, barely visible through the smoke, the silhouette of a small rural town or village hints at the human stakes. The scale of the fire dwarfs any human presence, conveying an overwhelming, unstoppable force of nature. The visual style is dramatic and photorealistic, with the quality of a high-impact editorial photograph, evoking both the immediate urgency and the long-term systemic threat of escalating wildfires across central and southern Europe.
