Dieta vegetale su scala globale? Possibile, con un ‘ma’ grosso così

Uno studio Nature mette in fila i numeri di una transizione alla dieta vegetale globale. Sono grossi. Le incertezze anche.

Gianluca Riccio

A photorealistic editorial illustration showing a dramatic split-view of a global agricultural landscape: on one side, vast industrial livestock farms with crowded feedlots and grain silos stretching to the horizon under a hazy sky; on the other side, lush, diverse fields of vegetables, legumes, fruit trees, and nut groves bathed in warm golden light. In the middle, a large globe floats above the dividing line, with green landmasses partially transformed — one region marked by the silhouette of India filled with wild vegetation and rewilded land. Scientific graphs and data points subtly integrated as faint overlays in the background suggest modeling uncertainty and wide statistical ranges. The overall tone is contemplative and complex, neither utopian nor dystopian, conveying the scale of systemic transformation required. Cinematic lighting, wide panoramic composition, documentary photography style with a slightly desaturated color palette.
